Firebase made some changes last week that broke our account registration for Sandbox. We have implemented a temporary bandaidfix. The downside to this bandaid fix is the link the user will receive by email to active activate his/her account will take them to firebase and will not redirect them to Sandbox. This could seem confusing. We will shortly be adding a message to the email with more detailed instructions. On Thursday morning we will be deploying a fix at 10:30am Eastern time. We do not for-see foresee any downtime, but would like you to be aware in case of issues that of the issue as it may arise.
